Its bandwidth costs are estimated at approximately $1 million a day. In January 2008 alone, nearly 79 million users watched over 3 billion videos on YouTube (taken from wikipedia). This amazing facts has made Youtube as one of the ideal place for marketers to promote their services worldwide. More importantly, it’s a free opportunity to showcase their offerings.
In case you are not aware of it, Youtube is a video sharing website where people can share, upload and view video clips. It is very popular, in fact some people prefer watching videos on Youtube rather than spending time in front of TV. More and more companies these days are using Youtube as a place to promote their services. It’s easy to increase the popularity of your videos. The more people view your videos, the higher your popularity grows.
There are some techniques that I use to increase my video’s views
1) Embed the videos into your own blog or myspace profile.
2) Put the link to the videos on your signature links (email and forum)
The more views your video gets, the higher it moves and thus increasing the popularity of you video. Make sure your video is interesting to watch and try to produce your own videos.
Have you ever tried marketing with Youtube?

Yep, you see it right. Redtube has been crowned as the hottest website throughout the year of 2007. Compete has released a list of the fastest-growing and fastest-declining website of last year. Among the fastest-growing websites include Techcrunch.com, iamfreetonight.com, squidoo.com and stumbleupon.com. Social networking websites dominate the fastest-growing sites last year and they are predicted to continue expanding this year.
Here’s the screen shot of the list:

Netscape.com, mcafee.com and xanga.com are among other websites in the fastest-declining list.
Perhaps I need a little bit of change here at Norhafidz.com to be on the fastest-growing list, be more hot and red maybe?

Normally, Google update their PageRank twice a year. In 2007, they update the PageRank on the end of April (for the first quarter) and on October (for the second quarter). Before the PageRank update, everybody, including me is busy building inbound links to improve PR.
Waiting for the next PageRank update is really a long wait. If you cannot wait for the next update of Google PageRank, you can actually predict your PR for the next update at PageRank Prediction Tool. I cannot guarantee you the accuracy of this prediction. My blog is predicted will get pr0 for the next update and I hope that’s not true.
Here’s a screen shot of PageRank Prediction Tool.

Enter your domain name and click Check!
Don’t be too serious about the prediction, the more you expect, the more you’ll disappointed later if you can’t get the expected result.
