I’ve been ‘tagged’, (that is how they called it) by Syam, one of my friends in blogosphere. This is the first time I do this thing so it takes some time, plus because of other design and marketing projects which I worked with. This Tagged thing works like answering questions (entirely about yourself, to let people know more about you). Syam has been tagged by other blogger and in return he tagged me, smart move eh? :). Well I would like to say sorry Syam for taking quite some time to respond. Ok, here’s a little information about me.

MParekh, does he sounds familiar to you?

You probably wondering who is MParekh? Well, to be honest, I notice this guy since the first day of my MyBlogLog account creation. If you are familiar with MyBlogLog, you might have known this guy. He got his picture in front of MyBlogLog website, how cool is that eh? I questioned myself, is this ‘publicity’ made him another well-known “Internet celebrity” like John Chow and Darren Rowse? Let’s investigate ;)

The Checkouts.

He has a blog where he writes about Ruminations on the Internet, Technology, and Interesting Trends around the globe. By judging the traffic of his blog, he doesn’t do well compared to John Chow. Obviously, John Chow has more redundancy on traffics. Most bloggers and readers are full aware of that (who can beat Chow eh?). Here’s the screenshot from Alexa.com:

The stats shows MParekh’s blog’s not even on top 100,000. It ranks 515,859 in Alexa traffics ranking. Though the blog is PR5, the response of his blog’s readers were really disappointing. It was hard to find a post which has more than 10 comments. So, he lost to John Chow when it comes to blog. Let’s look at another medium where you can gather your followers in a different way.

Twitter

MParekh or his full name Michael Parekh (source: twitter)have huge numbers of followers (in Twitter) compared to John Chow. At this moment, John Chow have more than 1000 followers, 1,234 to be exact (source: http://www.twitter.com/johnchowdot.com). While MParekh got more than 2000 followers (http://www.twitter.com/mparekh), that is about a doubles of John Chow’s followers.

MParekh does popular than Chow in some area and at last, someone beat Chow :)

I’m not quitting

Yea I know, it has been a long time since this blog received its last post. I’d like to say sorry for that, seriously I’m annoyed by the speed of streamyx (local ISP provider, which I paid quite high in Ringgit) and the speed of my hosting. I know you guys experience the same problem when loading the pages of this blog. I believe most Malaysians have problem with streamyx, who doesn’t? eh..

May Income Report

But I am the only one who suffer from the hosting problem, plus my friends, which are the visitors of this blog. I’ve talked regarding the problem and they seems to have a plan to solve the issue. At least they did something, I’m glad with that. Well, enough with the hosting problem, it’s June 13th and I know, my May income report is still not posted.

Here’s how my May income look like, please click the image to enlarge:

Google AdSense: $5.95
Affiliate Commission: $0.00

Total: $28.43

It is not pretty,  I’m less online and this is only what I can get for the month of May. I expected it to be the same for this month. Streamyx does narrowing my online income. Check out my April and March income report.

I’ve had like more than 20 comments to moderate since the last time I login to wp-admin. I was extremely happy at first when seeing those comments came in but disappointed at the end when knowing those comments are spams! Don’t worry spammers, your comments will always be in a special place, go figure ;)
