Semi Automatic Submission Tool

by Norhafidz on August 5, 2008

I wander on a webmaster forum today hoping to disclose some ads deals. I got a couple of deals and also offering some jobs to coders and designers for my new projects. At the end of the day, I ended up discovering and landed on a new semi automatic directory submission tool website. Submitting your blog to web directories is important, I did mention it on many of my posts on how important this actions were, especially on SEO off page optimization. In fact, It was one of the contributing factors which lead to the increment of my PageRank. But doing it manually is a great pain, That’s why a semi automic submission tool is a healer. Back to the tool, it is called SubmitterBot - “semi automatic directory submission tool.”

How Semi Automatic Directory Submission Tool Works?

They work similar to how you submit your blog manually, a slight different is that you don’t have to type in the informations about your blog repeatedly. You just need to type in the informations once and they will remain on your profile unless you change it. The list of web directories are also provided by the website. All you need to do is choose which category suit your blog and entering captcha.

They have a wonderful website, I don’t have any comments on the way they look. They look smooth and sleek. Well, this isn’t a free tool though, you are require to pay for your site to be accepted. And the payment process involves points. The points determine the total number of your websites. It is used to purchase spots. The more points you have, the more spots available for your site.

The rate is $1.99 per credit. It is still way cheaper than most of similar services provider. Take note, the only thing involve credit is when you need to add a website/blog not the submission to directories process.

What a Sweet SubmitterBot

Though their services are not entirely free, they are giving you a point after registration process is completed, which enable you to add a website or a blog to submit to their huge list of directories. So, they are giving you a chance to try out their tool so that you can have the real experience before deciding to buy credits.

I personally have tried their tool and were happy with the outcomes. Time is an important factor, by using this tool, I managed to cut a lot of times and use it for other purposes. Since submitting your blog manually to these directories is quite a tiring job, I would suggest you to take this tool into consideration in promoting your blogs and yourselves.

Should you have any questions about this tool, there’s a lot of questions and answers to read at their FAQ page.

I haven’t tried SubmitterBot, but I know there is quite popular software created by Brad Callen, called Directory Submitter.

Have a look > http://directorysubmitter.imwishlist.com/

I am personally not a big fan of any kind of automatic software, even if it’s semi-automatic.

Prefer to do things myself.

Steven Blackman: Yea, I’ve heard about Brad’s creation too, but never tried it.

Manually submitted form is great, the problem of doing things manually is that they are time consuming :)
