This blog been dead for quite some time. Not because I’m winning an election (congrats to Mr. Obama, yea I adore his speech), it’s just satisfying my commitment to a place called university. I’ve not been doing this for quite some time, appreciating my fellow friends in blogosphere. I used to appreciate my commentors on 16 star bloggers and 41 star bloggers. October has been a magnificent month for this blog, it received much more traffic than any other month from search engine optimization due to some keyword-rankings result and blog socializing method.

It encourages more comments from normal internet surfers to bloggers. Here’s a list of October Star Bloggers and website owners! Don’t forget to stop by and greet them.

• Star - thinks that patient and passion is a great combination to make money online. He also shared his opinion that Google AdWords is the best solution for advertisers.

• Jayce Ooi - judging from photos on his blog, I assumed he is a great photographer and has a Nikon (which always been my dream camera). Jayce has been a regular commentors on this blog. Thanks Jayce!

• Dennis Edell - Dennis has a wonderful blog about web marketing where he shares marketing on his views. Most importantly, he agreed that MarketLeverage is worth-to-try program

• Salwa - agreed on the theory of “selling links now and get banned by Google”

• Tivitune - gave suggestion that Google is not a king forever, which I might agree on that one .

• gCommerce - asked question about whether true or not Google penalized sites that contain pay per post.

• Cencurut - shared how clickbank has a been major contributor to his online income.

• Ahmike - encouraged me to hit the $100 magic numbers on AdSense.

• Lindsay - gave thoughts about non-entrepreneurial niches that can actually make huge money.

• Tertius - thinks that creative promotional item is a good variation to the old business card.

• Appleblogger - shared how he prefers AdSense more than any other ad networks on his blog.

• Akmal - commented and shared about how he once being skeptical in online money.

• Dstudiobali - depend on Google for traffic, he quoted “It’s to expensive if we must faced and pay for the consequence”.

• Mitch - believed that content is everything, he said that generating thousands of traffics to your blog with SEO might be unworthy without great contents.

• Terabai - quoted “patient is a virtue, work hard and i guess we all can earn something from google”

• Peter Lee - is the man who increased his backlinks in just a week! He shared a lot of interesting topics in his blog, mainly about make money online and work from home ideas.

• Titan - thinks Irfan Khairi is not way behind John Chow.

• Ihateher - is a new friend. Ihateher was one of the earliest to comment on my first wordpress theme, Kesatu.

• Cyza - an engineer, he totally explained everything about oil and gas on his blog. Commented on my Tioman’s vacation, Tioman is a great place indeed.

• Myadlan - asked why didn’t I put Adsense ads on this blog. I did use them on my other project.

• JJ-MomCashblog - thought that make money online keyword has been saturated but believed there is room for everyone.

• Tushar Dhoot - give thought about blogging, he believed that it takes much more than just a knowledge of SEO to make a blog. You must have a lot of personal qualities as well.

• Yan Shall Blog - don’t rely much on hosting reviews, he listen the real feedback from bloggers instead.

• Webkinz - contends that SEO is a needed skill to make money online.

• Rodney Smith - believed not many hosting reviews are genuine these days, some of them are made more about earning an affiliate commission than giving an objective evaluation.

• Eyeman - infer cup, pen, lighter are suitable items to use for promotional items.

• Michael - shared stats about his site and his online income.

• Danny Cooper - write articles for others has been Danny’s source of online income, but now he is concentrating on his own blog.

• Make Money From Home - contends I can make more money with this blog.

• Donace - Commented my September online income.

This is my first quest when I started blogging about a year ago. Can I really make money by just ramblings about anything? I’ve got so many question circling around my head. Questions like how did AdSense works, is Yahoo part of Google, are those John Chow’s cars? What the hell is blog? How to setup a blog? These are questions that came out from my head when I looked at John Chow’s monthly income report.

This is a question that most of the people wanted to know about. Let’s get back to the question, is it possible to make money blogging? Well, the answers are yes and no, and it is all depend on what your blog is all about. If you want to make big money blogging, you’ve got to be different in all aspects. More specifically:

Blog aspects..

• Good SEO Optimized (On & Off Page)
• A lot of subscribers
• Highly Page Viewed
• Huge UV
• Content is King

Self aspects..

• Patient (HUGE)
• Braveness
• Interest
• Creativity

These are essential and compulsory things-to-have to attract advertisers to buy your services which include space for advertising, pay per post or link selling. I made myself some money by blogging, you can check them here: September Online Income, the highest so far is: April Online Income

Sometimes, “self aspects” is much more important than SEO. John Chow’s blog is not “SEO’ly” good (though he managed to land on the first page of Google SERP way back ago). He ranked on the 5th page for “make money online” key phrase, but still he managed to get thousands of subscribers (mine is on the 18th which is technically more worse) from his braveness to be different. For those who didn’t know what Chow did, you can always check out his blog.

Being not so good in SERP doesn’t mean that he can’t get a lot of money from blogging. Instead he managed to get approximately 30,000USD monthly for just sitting in front of his computer typing things that he prefer. And this result does not come in a night, he started his blog in December 2005. With simple calculation that is 3 long years time. I mention John Chow a lot in this post, he inspired me and I learned a lot from his blog.

So, if you ask me, is it possible to make money blogging? It depends on how much longer can you wait
