Enhancing…

I am quite happy these couple of weeks because there is an indicator of an increase demand on one of my ‘fossilize’ digital product. This demand cheered me up because I was just thinking of dumping this product from my online revenue stream due to its deflation rate in sales. There were about 5 successful sales in this week alone (mind you that I did not do any promotional activities since the rate deflated), which left me wondering where does this traffic-that-converts came from?

Enhancing…

I am not paying so much attention to web analytics until this event occurs – which I admit was the biggest mistake of mine. Web analytics is so much important in online business to really understand the shape of your traffic. I started emphasizing web analytics a couple of days ago to really understand what has happened to my deflated product and how can I make use of it to generate profit. Not to say that I did not use Google Analytics before, but I began to use it extensively. I am enhancing something that I should do earlier – take note of that :)

People in the business industry (which include me) are coming to realize that the Web is the most effectual nonhuman sales drive (the most effective costumer learning and feedback and purchase channel). But making a Web an effectual sales drive requires solid foundation of measurement, testing, and listening platform – that is what web analytics has to offer.  I’ve had a lot of things in mind for this enhancing purpose, which include communicating with my long-omitted 900+ subscribers.

Google Analytics..

With the entry of Google Analytics, the market has simply exploded because now anyone who wants to have access to data from their website can have it for free, and from a sophisticated tool to boot. But after you get in, it is really hard to figure out what your success metrics are and how to do web analytics right. Go for Google analytics now.

Do you put extra effort on Web Analytics?

I pay attention on some of my website via analytics. Not all but some. But I don’t really know how to really optimize the usage of analytics. Maybe you can cover some tutorial on that.

Google Analytics… Yeah!!! Memang tak boleh dinafikan kehebatan tools ini. Paling aku suka bila melihat top keywords di blog or web mencapai target yang dingini.
