Want To Start Making Money Online? Consider These Checklists

AdSense,Make Money 23 October 2008 | 31 Comments

This is not a some sort of guarantee-list that if you are doing exactly the same thing on this list, you will be flooded with money. It is also not a scheme that will assure you that you’ll make $1000 in a minute, which I still think a BS. If you expect it to be like that, then sorry because it isn’t :)

Earning money online is the same as hard as earning offline, unless you own a scam-company. If you to start making money online, this is a bunch of things that I think you should look at and know about.

  • It is a good idea to start with eBay and other similar sites, as it doesn’t require a lot of technical skills to manage your own sale pages (of course you need to have this skills later on).
  • It is not easy tasks if you decide to make money with blogging and selling digital product. Having a strong blog (on page and off page) is extremely a must-have asset if you want to make it big. At the same time, when your blog is a big one, spot a problem, create a product (a solution) that you think most of your niche’s followers have problem with (remember to do this when you are someone in your niche). Because trust and results is a huge selling factor.
  • Should you want to start blogging on your own hosting (besides blogger and wordpress free account), be sure that your web hosting service provider is one of the best. Seek advices from webmasters. Find web hosting articles and web hosting reviews sites before deciding to buy one.
  • No one is going to tell you what is the best niche to be with. So, be wisely-selective in your niche. In SEO, this can be done through keyword analysis. Choose the high volume keywords of course, this can be a little competitive, but you can always make choice. Once you pick your “gold-phrase”, be sure that you have ultimately strong knowledge in that niche.
  • AdSense is the most easiest PPC ads to understand with, but to earn with them, you must be good in content writing as well as in positioning your sites all over the search engine. To be honest, I’m not doing pretty well with AdSense at the moment. Just bought the AdSense Secret from Joel Comm, and I have like hundreds of pages to read now :) I recommend this eBook to anyone who wants to start earning with AdSense.
  • There’s a lot of other sources of income online despite blogging and AdSense. Affiliates program like MarketLeverage, Pepperjam Network, ClickBank and Commision Junction are those worth-to-try-program. Socializing yourselves in forums and other blogs can help you a lot in terms of networking and get expose.

If I do I’ll let you know. lol

    I’d just like to add one thing to the SEO discussion. Coming up with topics that are SEO friendly may be nice, but if you don’t pick a topic that you can write about consistently and often and write for a very long time, thereby creating tons of traffic, then having great SEO doesn’t help you at all. People need to make sure they’ll have lots to say about a topic as much, if not more, than the SEO aspects of it all.

  15. Akmal says:

    True indeed. I always skeptical on this get rich quick scheme.

  16. Norhafidz says:

    @cyza: Yea, AdSense is like ‘impossible’ to make it big if the traffic factor is not strongly adamant.

    @Dennis Edell: Thanks Dennis, glad to see you here :)

    @titan: Yes indeed I am.

    @Busby SEO:
    You’ve got great SEO skills. :)

    @Star:
    Thanks, glad to see you here, and you’ve got a wonderful blog

    @Mitch: Absolutely, content and seo must be “king” in parallel

    @Akmal:
    Yea, I used to be skeptical too.

  17. cencurut says:

    No you are not, I know you are an expert on it.

    @how to make money: yea, I heard a lot of good things about Marketleverage and Azoogle, worth to try someday.

  25. cencurut says:

    To get decent income on Adsense, it’s much better done via your daily updated blogs rather than MFA sites.

    I do own a niche blog (which happen to gives more Adsense income) which got enough traffic on daily basis. On this blogs too, I included my Clickbank affiliate link.

  26. Having several niche blogs also contribute to bigger overall adsense earning. It works to me. 10 blogs each bring about $5 daily so I get $50 daily. Not bad, huh?

  27. I think when making money online you need to forget the money side! Concentrate on the content, on page and off page SEO, and the money will come. If you thiink money first, then you wont succeed.
    Yes you need to get the ads on there, and yes you need to optimise them (color, positioning) etc…, but dont make it your primary focus. Remember, content is always king!

  28. Norhafidz says:

    @cencurut: Glad to know it works fine for you cencurut.

    @Freeware Software: That’s great. Congratulation on your earning :)

    @Best Home Security System: True, don’t expect money on the first attempt.
